Behind the bars is the man who wants to escape from what connects him to the past. A past filled with pain, poverty, war, death. He leaves behind the homophobic and other suffocating perceptions of the society he lives in and chooses to make a new beginning, to embark on the journey of liberation. He breaks the shackles that keep him tied to the past and with a brave spirit he goes beyond simple change. He adopts a new faith, CHANGES his NAME, and redefines the entirety of his existence. Like the mythical Phoenix bird he emerges from the ashes and moves decisively towards the light creating HIS OWN destiny.
